Advocacy is a cornerstone of the California Contract Cities Association (CCCA) and its diverse membership. Each year, the Annual Sacramento Legislative Tour (SLOT) takes place in early January, coinciding with the start of the new legislative session. This multi-day event provides our members with an invaluable opportunity to meet with state legislators, leaders, and constitutional officers to share firsthand experiences on the issues impacting cities.
The tour highlights CCCA’s steadfast dedication to promoting the interests of our communities at the state Capitol. By fostering direct conversations with Senators and Assembly Members, we work to bridge the gap between local priorities and the state’s legislative agenda.
